We know that every center, program, and school has unique needs for professional development. Whether you are just discovering nature-based education, are exploring new practices, or would like some support in your growth - we are here for you! It's easy to host an event at your site. Let us know if you'd like to host a teacher training in your town!

Nature-Based Teacher Training Events

Custom Professional Development is available to schools, big and small! If you're looking for something specific for your team, let us know. Please note that schools book several months in advance to ensure our trainers have availability for set PD days already on your school's calendar. The last two weeks of August are popular training times, so be sure to reserve early.

Nature-Based Teacher Certification Registration is open for these essential 36-clock hour courses, available in person and online. The in person courses fill, so don't delay if you want to attend. Online options also available for level 1 certification.

Outdoor Teacher Retreats offer a full day of immersive nature-based training at a partner host site anywhere in the United States! Discover the forest and nature school programming at the host site and learn from a range of local experts who lead nature-based programs in the area. Most outdoor teacher retreats offer 6 clock hours of training, some offer 9 or 12 clock hours. All participants will receive a PD certificate at the conclusion of the training event.

Nature Teacher Camp is offered every other year. It is a blend of nature-based art experiences, nature connection 'dirt time', and a relaxing pace for enjoying one another's company. It runs Thursday - Sunday and is wonderful for teambuilding!
