We are proud to offer outdoor learning opportunities in the community where we are based in the greater Baltimore, MD region. Notchcliff Nature Programs is a community-based component of ERAFANS that directly serves children, families, and our elders on the beautiful grounds of Glen Meadows Retirement Community in Glen Arm, Maryland.  Notchcliff also offers outreach programs in partnership with area schools and organizations in Baltimore and across the Maryland.

Notchcliff inspires nature connection, environmental stewardship, sustainable living, and appreciation for our shared natural world. Offerings include Notchcliff Forest Preschool (ages 3-5), Forest Homeschool Cooperative (ages 5-10 years, K-5th grades), licensed summer nature camps, Seedlings Caregiver + Child Series (adult with child ages 1-3) and more!  See how our programs are growing or register today at naturalcommunity.org.

We cultivate a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and a sense of connectedness through our shared experiences as part of the natural world. We continually build on this commitment to ensure all children, families, and staff are welcomed and supported regardless of race, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and economic background. We actively work to ensure programs reflect the diversity of local communities in the faces, voices, and experiences we offer. The work of inclusion is a collective responsibility, one that is essential to our vision: "nature-based education, outdoor learning, and play for all."
