ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Ramona Moore Big Eagle, M.Ed. (Tuscarora/Cherokee), founded Dare to Soar Enterprises in 1991, aiming to inspire effective communication through storytelling across all demographics. Internationally recognized as a TEDx Speaker, Storyteller, Oral Historian, author, and Legend Keeper, Ramona's expertise extends to Environmental Education and Master Naturalism. With a Master of Education from East Tennessee State University and a B.A. from Catawba College, Ramona's teaching tenure spans over two decades, earning her accolades such as Teacher of the Year in Drama and the 2012 Faculty Leadership Award from the University of Phoenix. As a sought-after Motivational Speaker and Workshop Facilitator, Ramona's workshops, including Leadership through Storytelling and Finding Your Corporate Story, engage audiences worldwide. She spearheads the Storytellers Guild of Charlotte, Inc., and is active in the National Storytelling Network. Ramona's literacy program, STARS, revolutionizes education through storytelling, and her offerings span Native American Culture, History, and more. With a vibrant approach, Ramona enriches curricula and empowers audiences of all ages, erasing stereotypes and nurturing cultural understanding. Available year-round, her dynamic programming fosters engagement and learning at every turn.
