How can we use media to help our students connect with nature? In this workshop, award-winning filmmaker Suzie Hicks will share stories, strategies, resources, and songs to help early childhood educators use high-quality children's media inside and out of the nature-based classroom. This workshop merges science inquiry, environmental education, and social-emotional learning to give a holistic view of play-based learning outdoors.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This program is designed for anyone who facilitates nature-based education and outdoor learning, which may include: teachers and administrators in preschool, childcare, or elementary school settings; naturalists, environmental educators, or outdoor educators; wilderness survival enthusiasts; and parents.
