Laurie Syphard serves as a guide for the Seedlings Caregiver + Child Nature Series at Notchcliff Nature Programs. She also leads the monthly Elderflowers program with seniors from Glen Meadows Retirement Community and families from Notchcliff. 

In addition to working at ERAFANS, Laurie is an experienced curriculum writer, specializing in developing K-12 science courses and content creation. She has an undergraduate degree in environmental studies and a graduate degree in earth science education. Laurie has worked for various non-profit organizations over the years and has implemented a number of environmental education programs in various schools and at summer camps. She loves to share her passion for the environment with children of all ages.

In her spare time, Laurie enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dog,  playing tennis, and traveling. One of her favorite traditions is attending annual summer family camp with her mom and children.
